I believe it's the best podcast yet, but be careful Encephalatitus' voice gave me such a rash.  While editing I had to coat the entire thing with disinfectant and will have to submit to Inquisition inspection.

Just checked the Tally of Pestilence rules, and only at 110pts that can make a real powerful change to the unclean masses especially Chaos Marines.  At least it's unique, so you'll only have to kill the one, well per player I guess, how do unique rules work again?

Unique means just that one, so even if you have two or more nurgle players, only one energizer bunny Smiley

Thank goodness you can only use it during apoc games.

Glad you liked the podcast. We also have a new logo (check the site and iTunes). Also don't forget to give it a good rating while you are there.  Wink

About the melta rant, I myself perfer  using Lascanons to take out tanks (and the ocasional carnifex) and currently have no melta guns in my army.  (Probobley because I just started it.)  When you think about it, we have so many ways to kill tanks: Plasma, Lascanons, armor pierceing missels, ect.  People just chose melta.

I think melta is just one of the sure ways to kill/punch through a tank, and since there are so many "mech" lists out there that is why it has shot up with lots of people taking tanks or vehicles. I myself have lots of mech running around with my Orks, Space Marines, and some day to have a guard army aswell.

Hell i finally got Encephalatitus running with two Rhinos in his Death Guard army list now

I loved the podcast, one of the best ones I've heard, keep up the good work

And I hate using them....(they do work well....usually)   Sad

When I  can afford to get my trio of blight drones I am going to try and have my DG go back to being strictly ground pounders.

I've always had a somewhat transport army, even as far as 3rd edition is concerned. My Biel-Tan Eldar had Wave Serpents, and my Ulthwe Strike Force (from the Eye of Terror) used a lot of Vypers (which was cool since they could pop out of that Webway portal - how I miss that list - any bets that the Eldar will get Wraithgates in a similar fashion to Drop Pods and Spores? If I was a betting man, that would be my wager.)

Melta just never really appealed to me. Granted, I want to take some Melta just to have it, but really the only place I really will consider loading up on it is in Apocalypse. (Fire Dragons are totally awesome in Apocalypse).

Ergh. I think I just found my next "Rant" and it has to do with Destroyer weapons and that discussion of Fantasy. I'm going to expand on it in time for the next podcast.
